It all started in 1978 when a local farmer on Oldman’s Creek Road had a vision and an eagerness to help his fellow farmers. Fred Musumeci started selling sand for the local farmers to use in their planting beds. That became the start of what we now call Woolwich Sand & Gravel, LLC. Woolwich Sand & Gravel, LLC has been family owned and operated for over 38 years. As the towns around Fred grew, so did Woolwich Sand and Gravel. Fred passed the family business to his daughter Marie and her husband, Mark Minniti. Mark and Marie have now run the business for over 24 years and hope to pass it onto their son, Mark and daughter, Nicole, who also work for the family business. In 2014, Woolwich Sand and Gravel, LLC reloacted back to where it all began on Oldman's Creek Rd. Renovations were made on the property and Woolwich Sand & Gravel, LLC is back home where they belong and growing everyday! 

 

Mark and Marie support the local community by annually sponsoring various local sport teams. They’ve also donated material to various non-profit organizations such as the “Make-a-Wish Foundation.” They’ve participated in many community events and are always up for lending a hand when the community needs them. At Woolwich Sand & Gravel, LLC, family is key to the success of the business. Keeping with tradition, Woolwich Sand and Gravel, LLC has never operated on a Sunday, which is reserved for family and faith.
